Identity Theft Awareness Group (iTAG)

The Oregon Identity Theft Protection Act (OITPA) requires that Oregon businesses designate one or more employees to coordinate the training of their security program.   This ensures that all employees are trained on the subject of identity theft and how to protect sensitive consumer information.

This is just one of the many reasons why Team Logic IT has chosen the Identity Theft Awareness Group (iTAG) as their official identity theft education and protection partner.  With an impressive list of clients, iTAG has proven to be the Northwest’s premier agency on the subject of identity theft and privacy related issues.

The new law wants to ensure that employees know what personal identifying information is, know how important it is to safeguard it, and know your security program practices and procedures. Likewise, it is important to train your employees on notification procedures in the event of a security breach.

iTAG has prepared a comprehensive training program to ensure that employees understand the current and evolving trends of identity theft.  This training serves to help employees empathize with victims of compromised information, therefore making them better at performing their jobs.

The training is developed and led by Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialists (CITRMS). This cutting-edge training can be customized for your organizations needs and provides a powerful resource and wealth of information in a comprehensive and accessible format.

To find out how iTAG can help you mitigate your exposure to the ‘human factor’ of your operations, call them directly at 503-453-9370 or toll-free at 888-817-7574.
